Turlock Express: 2 Matches this weekend

Looking for the first win on the Road

(Turlock, Ca. December 8, 2016)--- Turlock Express (2-4) is on the road to Southern California on Friday December 9th for a matchup against 14 time Indoor Champions, San Diego Sockers for the 3rd time this 2016-17 MASL season.

The last time both Pacific Division teams were on the same field was on Friday November 18th in which was a night to remember for The Turlock Express as they defeated The Sockers for the first time in 8 years. Both teams have won at home and this weekend Express is looking for their first win on the road.

This season the Sockers have shown that they are the team to beat as they continue to dominate In the MASL. Forward Kraig Chiles is a huge component for San Diego and it will be crucial for the Express to limit his abilities up top as it has became clear of what he can do from any given angle.

Express will look for Forward, Anibal Echeverria who has continued to be Turlock’s GoalScorer this season to find the net early on the match. Christopher Welch who came from the Sacramento Surge has transitioned to become Turlock’s starting keeper and has witnessed the Sockers offense in the two matches already.

Turlock is then to cross over to Atletico Baja territory Sunday, December 11 looking for a different outcome this time around. Different strategies both defensively and offensively will need to be executed for the win over Baja.
