CAL EXPRESS FALL SHORT IN THE 4TH 


TuURLOCK,CA (January 17th, 2020) Brandon Gonzalez had two key goals tonight in Turlock (3-6) in favor of the Flash. His second was the game winning goal that gave Monterrey (13-0)  a 5-4 victory adding to their perfect record. 


The opening quarter tonight witnessed immediate offense action from the visiting team with Miguel Vaca finding the back of the net in the first minute of the match.


It wasn’t until 3:26, when Adrian “Kiko” Gutierrez leveled things up. 


From here The Cal Express scored one more courtesy of Adrian Pulido with an assist by Ivan Campos that gave them their first lead of the game. 


A great team effort by Turlock lead to two additional goals by two different players. Ivan Campos and Luis Brambila each scored a piece and took a 4-1 lead over the Flash. 


Monterrrey restructured and got a few past Edgar Martinez who had key saves tonight. Goals by Brandon Gonzalez and Jorge Rios took things into the half . 


Turlock began with a one goal advantage after leading for most of the game tonight.


As the third quarter rolled in, Adriano Nunes had an opportunity and took it that tied the game for the second time tonight. 


With less than 5 minutes left, and a tied game, Brandon Gonzalez returned for his second and finalized the game. 


The Cal Express return tomorrow for more arena soccer action at home. Tickets are available at the door and will be sold all day long at Turlock Indoor,
