Season to close with series vs Fury

Turlock Cal Express (8-12) have a tough weekend ahead as they prepare for a home-and-home set against the Ontario Fury starting off at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California on Friday before returning home on Saturday for Turlock’s last home game of the season.


These two games will conclude the 6 game series between both MASL Western Rivals who are still in the running for a playoff spot. In order for Turlock to clinch the 4th spot in playoffs they would have to win the remainder of the games left in their regular season and will be contingent on the results of wins and losses from some of their opponents. 


Currently, The Fury are leading in the series 3-1 but Turlock comes in off a great come back made against the Dallas Sidekicks that lead to a well earned 8-7 victory.


Ontario is on a two game winning streak and will look for their third consecutive win this Friday as they close out their home schedule in the Toyota Arena.


Both teams have a player serving a suspension on Friday for point accumulations. Israel Sesay will be out for the Fury while Turlock player, Juan Manuel Rojo will serve his.


Frank Tayou remains as the biggest threat offensively for the Southern California team while Adrain Gutierrez still sits on the top for Turlock.


Friday nights game on the road will be available live on MASLtv with a 7:05 pm start time while Saturday's game at home which will be The Cal Express Fan Appreciation night will start at 6pm.
