EXPRESS FALL TO THE FURY

(ONTARIO, CA., March 30th , 2019)— What a night it was for all at the Citizens Business Bank Arena who witnessed a total of 4 goals from the one and only Jermaine Jones that pushed the Fury to a 12-2 win over the Express.

The night began with an early goal from Maicon de Abreu seen within the first 20 seconds of the opening quarter that  gave the Fury an early lead that set the tone for the remainder of the game.

This goal was the first of two seen in Quarter 1, as the next fired up the crowd when number 13, Jermaine Jones found the back of the net off an assist by Anibal Echeverria.

William Raygoza then took back to back opportunities to shoot two past Express Goalkeeper and increase their lead.

The second half was a continued Fury ball game with 4 unanswered goals in the 3rd before Turlock was able to make an appearance on the scoreboard.

The Express was simply not able to get back into the game allowing too many defensive error that cost them another 4 goals in the final 15 minutes of the match.

On top of Jermaine Jones performance, Francisco Cordeiro as well as Juan Carlos Gonzalez and William Raygoza were able to chip in with two goals a piece to finalize the scoreboard.
