Express Head to Texas for a Double Header

(Turlock, Ca. January 12, 2017)--- Turlock Express (4-7) will hope to improve their overall record in the Major Arena Soccer League this weekend as they head out to Texas for a two game road trip.

Turlock will face El Paso Coyotes first on Friday Jan 13th, 2017 at 7:35pm. The last time both MASL teams met was back on December 16th, 2016 when The Coyotes came down to Northern California.

El Paso (0-10) lost to Turlock 9-5 at Turlock Indoor Soccer. Express opened up the scoreboard but was then matched by the Coyotes in the second quarter. Turlock continued to press against the fast charging Coyotes and kept a 2 and more goal lead that gave the Express the victory at home.

As the Coyotes reach the final second half of their inaugural season with no wins so far, management has taken some new approaches in hopes of a new outcome for the second portion of the season.

The new signings of players Mario Arrieta, Hector Casillas, Bronil Koochie, Antonio Garcia, and Robert Garcia who have previously played for Las vegas legends and Soles de Sonora are the new assets for the Coyotes. In addition to the new signings they have appointed a new head coach.

After Friday night’s game, Express will fly out to Dallas and face the Dallas Sidekicks for the first time this season. Express will look to limit Dallas’ offensive as The Sidekicks are led this season by their all team leading scorer, Cameron Brown, who has 21 goals.

The Express enter this weekend’s action led on offense by Martyn Arista (13 goals,4 assists)

Anibal Echeverria (12 goals, 5 assists) and Adrian Gutierrez (11 goals, 5 assists).
