Express In Search of a Win 

 (TURLOCK, CA. January 26, 2017)---  The Turlock Express (5-9) return home after a 2 game road series for a friday night matchup against Atletico Baja (6-7). Friday will be the second time Baja travels to Northern California to face the Express with a total of 3 previous meetings, with both teams taking victories at home but none on the road. 

Turlock comes off of a losing streak on the road in result from last week's matchup against Tacoma Stars. Express will look to regain momentum and reestablish their winning streak at home as they had an undefeated record until pacific rivals Ontario Fury took the win on January 6th. 

With only one road game left and 4 at home, Turlock Express will turn to their leading offensive players Anibal Echeverria who leads the team with 16 goals and 5 assists and Martyn Arista who isn’t far behind with15 goals and 5 assists to finish off the season strong on the scoreboard. 

Atletico Baja is  also coming off a loss against Ontario Fury and is currently seeking an opportunity to remain in the top 2 spots in their Southwest Division. Baja is lead by Christian Gutierrez who has an outstanding 36 goals and 8 assists, putting him in the top 10 scorers in the MASL. 

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:05pm at Turlock Indoor Soccer. The game can be seen on MASL tv, the streaming home of the MASL on Youtube.
