EXPRESS VISIT EL PASO ON FRIDAY

(TURLOCK, CA., March 13th, 2019)— For the last time this season, The Turlock Express will face the Coyotes from El Paso, Tx this Friday night on the road. The match is scheduled for a 6:15 PDT kickoff and is available for viewing live on MASLTV.

The Coyotes have taken 2 wins out of the last 3 head to head games. Those two wins were both in OT with El Paso closing out the game with golden goals. The last time both teams met was in Turlock where the Express outscored the Coyotes 12-8.

Since the last match up both teams have had changes on their roster with the Express coming in on Friday with their recent signee Omar Tapia taking on his ex MASL team after playing more than half the season with El Paso before transferring over with Turlock.

Tapia has scored 8 goals in his short 4 game career with the Express and will be Turlock’s biggest threat up top on Friday. For the Coyotes, Hugo Puentes continues to remain as their leading scorer with 23 goals in 16 games.

Edgar Martinez who recently returned after suffering an injury earlier this season, had quite the performance in the box last sunday against the Tacoma Stars and will be one to look out for as he works with Turlock’s defense in putting a stop to the Coyotes as they are well known for being a 4th quarter team.

Make sure to catch the game live on MASLTV on MASLsoccer.com and follow  the Express on twitter for live game stats.
