NEW YEAR NO LUCK FOR TURLOCK ON THE ROAD

KENT,WA (January 10th, 2020) Alex Caceres contributed two out of the seven Tacoma goals seen in tonight's match at the Accesso SHoWare Center in Kent, WA that gave the Stars a 7-4 win over the Cal Express.

The Turlock Cal Express began tonight’s game with great possession seen in the first opening minutes. As time trickled down, Stars Alessandro Canale was issued a blue card for kicking.

With a one man advantage, The Cal Express played the ball calmly working pass the middle of the field.

As the powerplay almost came to an end, Gerardo Juradro was able to crack one in past Danny Waltman within the one second left in the powerplay. This finished off the first on a positive note for the Northern California team.

The following quarter however was all Stars with three unanswered goals that took them into half with a 3-1 lead over the Cal Express.

Goals by Raphael Cox, Lamar Neagle and Alex Caceres were seen before the start of the third.

With a 3-1 lead, the Stars did not stop there making sure to make an early statement two minutes into the third quarter when Michael Ramos drove the ball into the left post off a great pass from Nick Perera.

Turlock who struggled defensively after two quarters were able to capitalize off a power play once more, this time off a canon shot from Adrian Gutierrez that hit underneath the cross bar and went in.

Gutierrez’s goal cut the Stars lead in half.

Luis Brambila then joined in by adding one more for Turlock at minute 5:36 in the third.

Brambila’s goal sadly was the last one seen until the end of the match when Gerardo Juradro scored his second of the night after Tacoma had 3 straight back to back goals that secured their victory.

The Turlock Cal Express will be back at home this upcoming week with a double header against the Monterrey Flash on Friday and the Mesquite Outlaws on Saturday. Follow the Cal Express on all social media platforms to stay current on all news and promotions.
