RGV OUTSCORES THE EXPRESS 

(TURLOCK, CA., January 25th, 2019)— The final match for this week’s road trip to Texas was at the State Farm Arena as the RGV Barracudas hosted the Turlock Express. RGV who has shown to be the team to beat made sure to defend their home turf by outscoring the Express 9-2. 

Tonight’s game was one dominated by the Barracudas who had a total of 4 unanswered goals in the first half of the match. 

Efrain Martinez was the first to open up the scoreboard in favor of Rio Grande Valley followed by Diego Zuniga and Genoni Martinez before returning to score his second of the night to take things into halftime 4-0. 

The 3rd quarter was no different than the first two as the Barracudas continued to show no mercy up top with an impressive attacking line up that resulted in goals by Moises Gonzalez , Efrain Martinez, Carlos Hernandez and Erick Ponce. 

The Turlock Express was only able to score twice in tonight’s encounter as they faced one of the league's best defense. Goals for The Express were made by Adrian Gutierrez and Matt Maxx. 

Efrain Martinez had a hat trick while Yotsi Martinez had two goals. 

The Express will now return for a home match this upcoming friday against the Ontario Fury. Tickets are available online at TurlockExpress.com.
