The Express looking for a Fresh Start

 

(TURLOCK, CA., JANUARY 3rd, 2017)—-The Turlock Express (2-8) are set to host the San Diego Sockers (7-0) this Friday night at Turlock Indoor with the game scheduled for kickoff at 7:05pm. After hosting the Sockers on Friday, Turlock will then travel to Southern California for a Sunday evening match against San Diego at 5:05pm. Both games can be watched live on MASL.tv with Tickets for the match on the 3rd being available for purchase at Turlock Indoor located on 500 S.Center St in Turlock, Ca. 

 

The Express are looking to start this new year on the right foot and turn things around in hopes of improving their overall record. This Friday night they will be going up against the leading Pacific Division team who has had a perfect record thus far and are coming in off a 7w streak.

 

The last time the Express and the Sockers played against each other was a few weeks back on December 17th. 

 

Erick Tovar had a total of 3 goals , Anthony Media had 2 goals and Kraig Chiles, Raymundo Contreras, Matt Clare, and Felipe González had one each that pushed Turlock into taking a 9-2 loss.

 

The Sockers are lead by their #1 goal scorer, Kraig Chiles who has a total of 14 goals scored in those 7 games played. Turlock on the other hand have Ivan Campos who has been a strong asset for The Express with a total of 18 goals and 9 assists. 

 

Turlock will look to get an early start and maintain ball possession against their strong offense rivals for both Friday and Sunday games.
