Turlock takes the W against RGV Barracudas

(TURLOCK, CA. February 23rd, 2018)--- Turlock Express (3-18) were able to take a win tonight against the RGV Barracudas after 7 consecutive losses. Matthew Germain and Jorge Carmona each had 2 a piece that kept The Express with the lead all game and contributed to their 9-6 win. 

Turlock came out aggressive this friday night as they opened up the scoreboard with a goal by Matthew Germain (Ivan Campos). 

An additional 2 goals in favor of the Express by Adrian Plascencia (Jesus Belmonte) and Jorge Carmona (Danny Ramirez) put them up 3-0 at the end of the 1st quarter.

The Barracudas however made a fast start of the 2nd quarter with a quick goal in the first 30 seconds by Luiz Mota. Turlock did not hold back and responded with another 2 goals. 

Tonight the Southwest team had no luck with their offense as the Express kept a 2+ goal lead all match. The man of the night for RGV however was Antonio Manfut who had 3 goals tonight and kept Goalkeeper Edgar Martinez busy all night. 

Turlock will conclude the 2017-18 MASL season at home with their last game of the season this upcoming friday against El Paso Coyotes. Tickets are available at Turlock Indoor all week.
