CAL EXPRESS ANNOUNCES NEW HEAD COACH


TURLOCK,CA (November 16th, 2019) The Turlock Cal Express has announced their new head coach for the 2019-20 Major Arena Soccer Season after the news about their overall rebranding of their organization was made public. The main Man calling the shots for the Cal Express team is now known as Edgar “Chebo “ Martinez Aviles. 


Chebo is a well known figure in the soccer world coming in after playing professionally himself in the Professional Mexican League as well as in the PASL. With knowing the inside outs of both indoor and outdoor, he became the perfect candidate to join the organization as they transition for the better. 


On top of his soccer knowledge he comes in with years of experience as a fitness coach after working with top organizations such as The San Diego Sockers, Chicago Mustangs, The Mexican National team for minifutbol and even tapped into The Malaysia Premier League. 


When asked about his thoughts on his new position he said he was “ extremely happy and grateful for this opportunity given to lead as the Head Coach of the Turlock Cal Express” 


“I have found a group of players who are willing to work hard and who have great potential. These past weeks they have truly put in the work in preparation for what is to come. We hope for a positive season full of determination and sacrifices” 


Chebo will be opening up the season on November 22nd at home with a new and improved team blended with new and familiar faces. 


Tickets are available this upcoming week for purchase. Doors will be opening at 6 pm with a 7:05pm kickoff time.
