CAL EXPRESS KICK OFF THE NEW YEAR ON THE ROAD
TURLOCK,CA (January 3rd, 2020) The Turlock Cal Express will begin 2020 on the road in Monterrey, Mexico to face the Western Division Leaders, The Flash.
Kickoff is scheduled for 6:05 pm PST at the Arena Monterrey.
This will be the first game out of the two scheduled this season between both MASL teams.
The Monterrey Flash comes in with 6 consecutive wins while the Cal Express looks to regroup after falling short to the San Diego Sockers and The Ontario Fury prior to this encounter.
Turlock will face one of the top leaders in the league, Edgar Gonzalez who has only played 4 out of the 6 games for Monterrey and has put up 11 goals and 4 assists.
Brayan Aguliar is also a top offensive player for the Flash bagging in 10 goals in the 6 games played.
After visiting the Flash on Monday, The Cal Express will rest for a few days before flying out on Friday to visit the Tacoma Stars for the first time.
The Tacoma stars and Cal Express have already met once this 2019-20 season in Turlock, Ca where Adam West scored the game winning goal for a 5-4 victory.
Friday’s match will kickoff at 7:35 pm in the Accesso ShoWare Center.
While this upcoming week will be tough on the road, the new addition of Forward Anibal Echeverria to Turlock will be taken to full advantage by the Cal Express as most of their goals have been scored by Defender Juan Rojo.
