DOUBLE HEADER FOR THE EXPRESS

(TURLOCK, CA., January 1st, 2019)— The Turlock Express (0-5) will enter the new year facing off with a double header this week against Pacific Division rivals , The Ontario Fury (5-2)  and The San Diego Sockers (4-1). This week’s games will start on the road as the Express visit the Fury on January 3rd before heading back home to host the San Diego Sockers on the 4th.

Turlock will enter Thursdays match with a 0-5 record in hopes of bagging their first win after losing two extremely close games against the Fury at home. Both games resulted in a one goal differential.

The Express have had a difficult time with road games since last season and are looking to break that streak.

Friday’s game will be the first encounter against the San Diego Sockers this season as they come in with 4 wins and 1 loss.

Chris Toth will continue to be the biggest asset for Ontario followed by their leading scorer, Adrien Perez while The San Diego Sockers fall back to their well trusted veteran, Kraig Chiles  who has locked in 8 goals so far this season. The Sockers will also come in with various new faces that joined their roster this November.

Thursday match at The Citizens Bank Arena can be viewed at 7pm through MASLtv on maslsoccer.com. Tickets for the San Diego Game at home can be purchased at Turlockexpress.com.
