Fury outscore Turlock

(Turlock, CA. February 2nd, 2018)--- The Ontario Fury (9-8) made their way to Turlock, Ca this friday night for their last game against the Turlock Express (2-16) this 2017-18 season. Tonight’s game took a different turn than the last matchup between Turlock and Ontario with The Fury dominating the scoreboard that resulted in a 10-6 win over Turlock.

The opening quarter displayed an even control of ball possession between the two Pacific Division teams. After 10 minutes with a scoreless game, Turlock Express player Jose Acosta striked one in and gave Turlock an early lead.

The Fury’s 0 quickly turned into a 1 after their new signee Ouday Belhadj equalized the game in less than 30 seconds. Adrien Perez joined in one minute after and took the lead for Ontario.

The 1st quarter ended with a tied game after Jorge Carmona found the net thanks to an assist from Ivan Campos. This would be the only time Turlock would be neck to neck with Ontario as the Fury would then unleash a total of 5 unanswered goals in the second quarter.

Goals by Andy Reyes, Francisco Cordeiro , Adrien Perez, Juan Carlos Gonzalez and Ouday Belhadj would put them up 8-2 at halftime making it hard for the Express to return.

Turlock had four goals in the second half that cut down the deficit but was not enough. The man of the night was Claysson De Lima who just simply put a stop to the many attempts Turlock had tonight.

The Express are now on the road as they head out to Hermosillo, Mx for their last away game of the season against the Soles de Sonora. The match can be seen live on MASL.tv.
