Turlock Signs New Player

(TURLOCK, CA. October 29th, 2017)--- A majority of the veterans who played last season will be returning for another year with the Turlock team. However, a handful of new faces will be seen on the roster this winter for the Burgundy and Gold team. 

Among them is back line player, Luis Martinez- Stucchi. Stucchi who was born in Peru but made Ceres, California his home, will be taking on a new challenge in his soccer career. 

Luis played in Modesto Junior College as Center Back and racked up a few awards while on team. He was named Team Captain and was awarded 1st team All-League Honors for the Big 8 Conference. After playing his second year at MJC he was awarded an Athletic Scholarship to play at the University of California. 

At UC Merced he was named Team Captain as well and was awarded Cal Pac 2nd Team All- League Honors two years in a row. In 2016 he played for USL-PDL team, Fresno Fuego and participated in a few matches against Pro Armenian team FC Ararat Yerevan and vs The New York Cosmos. 

With endless experience in Outdoor Soccer, Stucchi will transition into the Arena Soccer this winter and aim for recongition in the MASL to add to career.
