NEWS RELEASE

SOLES VISIT THE CAL EXPRESS

TURLOCK,CA (December 12th, 2019) The Turlock Cal Express (2-1) will host the Soles de Sonora (1-2 ) this Friday, December 13th at Turlock Indoor located on 500 S. Center St, Turlock Ca. Doors will open to the public at 6 pm with a scheduled kickoff at 7:05pm. Tickets will be available for presale purchase the remainder of today but always available at the door gameday.

The Soles de Sonora after being dormant last season have resurfaced this year in the MASL and will make their first appearance in Turlock this Friday.

Tomorrow will be the first out of the two games scheduled in Northern California. The Cal Express will not travel out to Sonora, Mexico this year.

Soles made their announcement early preseason about rejoining the upcoming season and began working hard putting together a competitive team.

Soles returned to the Major Arena Soccer League without a few big names on their roster. The most shocking one was the nonreturn of Frank Tayou who is now wearing Ontario Fury colors.

Regardless of the changes, Soles are coming off a Win with top leaders Alejandro Leyva (2G,4A), Enrique Canez (4G,2A) and veteran Gustavo Rosales who was with the RGV Barracudas last season but returned to the Soles once more.

The Cal Express are coming off a devastating OTL against the Tacoma Stars and are looking to get back on track after starting the season Hot early on.

Adrian Gutierrez (3G,4A) Manuel Rojo (4G,1A) and Gerardo Jurado (4G) are sitting on the top of the list for the Cal Express with a combined total of 11 goals in all three low scoring games recently played.

Come see them in action this Friday! If you can’t make it out, make sure to catch it live on MASLtv by heading to MASLsoccer.com.
