Turlock Express: No Luck on the road

Tough losses against Sonora and Baja

Turlock, Ca.---  Turlock Express (1-3) after a double header this weekend against Soles de Sonora (2-1) and Atletico Baja (2-1) fails to take a win back home.

Turlock Express player Jesse Horta who had his first goal of the season after not playing in the MASL for some time opened up the night in favor of Turlock. Baja players Uziel Gonza, Roman Ramirez, and Daniel Villela each scored a goal in the first quarter giving Baja the lead.

Despite the change Express had with Keeper Christopher Welch sitting out and Edgar Martinez entering the game, Baja kept pressuring up top taking advantage of the defensive errors that Express had.

Uziel Gonzalez proved he was the player of the night for Atletico Baja racking up a total of four goals from the 13 scored tonight.

After playing an intense 33 goal total game last night against Soles De Sonora, Turlock wasn’t able to make the connections seen from the previous game from new signings Matthew Germain and Anibal Echeverria who were two of the main leaders in that game.

Turlock Express is now on the count down until they are back in action against San Diego Sockers at home Friday, November 18th at 7:05pm at Turlock Indoor.
