Turlock faced with a Double Header this Weekend

(TURLOCK, CA. November 30th,2017)—- The Turlock Express (0-4) is approaching their 5th & 6th game in the Major Arena Soccer League as they hit the road and travel to visit South West division teams El Paso Coyotes (3-1) on Saturday December 2nd and RGV Barracudas (0-4) Sunday, December 3rd. 

Saturdays match is scheduled for kickoff at 6:05pm PST while Sundays match will be at 3:05pm PST. Both games can be viewed on MASL.tv while all live stats are available at www.maslsoccer.com. 

Turlock enter this weekend’s Double Header hungry for their first win of the season as they come off a 8-5 loss against Pacific Division rivals, The Tacoma Stars. However, despite the loss, Express will move forward and prepare for what lays ahead on Saturday night as they take on a new and improved El Paso Coyotes team who are coming off of an exciting overtime win against The well known MASL team, Soles de Sonora .

The last time El Paso and Turlock met was in the 2016-17 Season in which Turlock took all three wins in the 3 scheduled games. El Paso since has reinforced their squad with new player signings such as Christian Gutierrez who made a name of himself last season with a high scoring record that had teams looking at him from all around. Gutierrez will be a key player for the Coyotes as well as Alex Caceres who alo signed with El Paso after playing with Las Vegas Legends and Ontario Fury.  

Sunday, December 3rd will be the first game of the 4 games scheduled this season with The Rio Grande Valley Barracudas (0-4) who like Turlock have not been able to obtain a win so far this season. With their announcement of the well known soccer player Vicente Matias Vuoso things might start to change for the Texas team. Turlock however will turn to their leading scorer, Ivan Campos.
