TURLOCK OPEN UP THEIR SEASON ON THE ROAD

(TURLOCK, CA., November 28th, 2018)— This Friday The Turlock Express (0-0)  will officially begin their 2018-19 Season on the road in Ontario, Ca vs the Fury (0-0) before heading the next day to visit the Tacoma Stars (0-0). Kick off for Friday’s game in the Citizens Bank Arena will be at 7pm and Saturday at 7:05pm PST. 

The Express will take part in two Home Openers this weekend against both Pacific Division teams. 

Turlock had an early encounter with the Fury a few weeks back during a preseason game. The Fury and Express were tied at least 4 times during the 4 quarters. 

 Turlock was able to take the win in the final 15 minutes with a total of 6 goals scored in that quarter alone. All goals from the Northern team were by 8 different players while the Fury had multiple players that found the net twice. 

The Express will head into this weekend’s double header with 2 new faces on their roster. Ernesto Luna being one of them will come onto the field wearing burgundy and gold. Luna played last season with El Paso Coyotes and has became a new asset for the Express this season. Juan Carlos Bugarin is another new face who is from San Jose, Ca. “JC” does not have any MASL experience but has played against a few well known MASL players in futsal tournaments and looks forward to showcasing his talent at this level. 

This weekend will be a fresh start for the Express as  they look to have a completely different season then the previous one.
