Turlock take 2Ls


(San Diego, CA. January 7th, 2017)--- Sunday evening the Turlock Express (2-10) arrived at the Valley View Casino Center to close out the 2 game series against the San Diego Sockers (9-0). The Southern California Team took the win tonight with a score of 10-1 over the Express and remain undefeated in the Pacific Division. 


Turlock entered the match with a new lineup and had the first attacks of the game however the first goal of the night did not fall on Turlock’s side but on San Diego's with a goal by, Kraig Chiles. 


Jorge Carmona was able to find the equalizer a few plays later with the perfect assist by Jose Barajas. 


Carmona’s ’goal would be the only one seen for the Express as the Sockers found their way pass goalkeepers Edgar Martinez in the 3 first quarters and Martin Sanchez in the final quarter. 


Kraig Chiles, Brian Farber, Hiram Ruiz and Matt Clare each had two goals. Raymundo Contreras and Luan Oliveira also joined in with a goal each that finalized the score. 


Turlock will now host the Ontario Fury at home this upcoming friday at the Turlock Indoor. Tickets for this match are available all week at 500 S. Center in Turlock Ca. Make sure you are following the Express on all Social media platforms to stay on top of team news.
