Turlock visit Soles de Sonora to close out their Road Games

(TURLOCK, CA., February  7th, 2018)— This Friday, The Turlock Express (2-16) will be heading to the other side of the border to visit the Soles De Sonora (10-6) for a Saturday match at the Centro de Usos Multiples. The game is scheduled for kickoff at 6:05pm PST and can be viewed on MASL.tv live.

Saturday’s match will be the last road game for the Express this 2017-18 season.

The Turlock Express will be facing off the Soles de Sonora for the first and only time this upcoming weekend as the Southwest team did not make an appearance this season in Turlock.

The last two times the Express and Soles met on the same field was last season with Soles bagging a win at home with a high scoring game of 33 goals between both MASL teams and then taking a loss against the Express in Turlock, Ca.

The Soles have the well known Frank Tayou who currently sits on top of the leaders board with both the highest points and the most goals in the entire league. An additional player who they acquired this season was Anibal Echeverria who played last season with the Turlock Express.

Echeverria has racked up 14 goals and 12 assists for Soles so far this season and has been a great asset for them. Turlock will be coming in with Ivan Campos who leads in goals for Turlock as well as their key veterans Adrian Gutierrez and Arturo Pulido.

Turlock will look to control the game and slow the Soles down as they are accustomed to a fast paced scoring game on their field.
