(TURLOCK, CA., January 9th, 2019)— The Turlock Express  (7-0) head on the road this weekend to visit two Southwest division teams in the MASL. Friday, January 11th will be the first encounter against El Paso Coyotes (1-4) at El Paso Coliseum with kickoff at 7:15 pm MST before flying out to play against the RGV Barracudas on Sunday at 5:35 PM CST. 


Friday will be the first time the Turlock Express play against The Coyotes this 2018-19 season. El Paso like the Express are at the bottom of their division with the Coyotes up with only one win while the Express are continue on the hunt for their first win. 


Hugo Puentes and Jorge Rios remain up top for El Paso as their leading scorers with 7 goals in 5 games played while the Express have Jorge Carmona with 5 goals. 


Sunday’s encounter against RGV will be the second time they meet. The Barracudas are coming off a 8-4 win over the Tacoma Stars. 


The last time they played the Express was in Turlock where they shut out the Express 6-0. 


This time around the Express look for a different approach as they gear up for this upcoming match. A few new faces can be expected to make an appearance for Turlock in hopes of changing their record around.
