TURLOCK VISITS THE SOUTHWEST DIVISION
(TURLOCK, CA., January 23rd, 2019)— The Turlock Express will travel to texas for the second time this season for two scheduled league games. The two game series will start off in El Paso on Friday as the Express come face to face with the Coyotes before traveling to Hidalgo, Tx to visit the Barracudas on Sunday.
The Express will enter this week’s games coming off a loss against the San Diego Sockers. Despite the unfortunate record, Turlock have signed a few new faces that will hopefully be the much needed difference on this upcoming trip.
One of the new additions is Victor Parra who made his debut last friday in southern California against the Sockers. Parra was able to score against the well known San Diego goalkeeper and proved to be of assistance to the Turlock team.
The last time the Express encountered the Coyotes was a few weeks back where a strong El Paso team recovered in the 4th after trailing to Turlock and pushed things into overtime. El Paso was able to find the net first and took the much needed win from the Express. This time around, Turlock will look to play more disciplined and precise in the 4th to avoid past mistakes.
When the Barracudas hosted Turlock a few weeks back as well, they took a 8-3 win with great performances from Efrain Martinez and Gustavo Rosales.
The Barracudas are coming off an exciting win over The Monterey Flash and will look to continue that winning streak.
Both games this weekend will be available for viewing on MASLTV.
