Turlock With Their Eyes on the Prize 

(TURLOCK, CA., DECEMBER 6th, 2017)—- This Friday, December 8th Turlock Express (1-5) will host El Paso Coyotes (4-1) for the first time this season out of the two that will take place at Turlock Indoor. Kickoff for Friday’s match is scheduled for 7:05 pm with tickets for the game available for purchase at Turlock Indoor located on 500 S. Center St, Turlock Ca. 

Turlock will be preparing for Friday’s game with new strategies against the new and improved Coyotes who took the win from Turlock with a golden goal by Hugo Puentes in Overtime this past Saturday. 

The Coyotes who went 0-20 in their inaugural season last year have reinforced their squad off season with known MASL players who have been a huge component to their 4-1 record so far this 2017-18 Season. 

Christian Gutierrez who played with Atletico Baja, is continuing to add goals to his arena soccer career but in a green and gray jersey now. This past Saturday, Gutierrez had two goals for El Paso in combination with different play buildups that lead to the 7-3 lead by the 3rd quarter for the Coyotes. 

As Turlock trailed behind El Paso, The Express made an extraordinary comeback in the 4th with goals by Matthew Germain, Arturo Pulido and Carlos Manzo. Martyn Arista had the equalizer with only a couple minutes left in the game that pushed things into overtime.

The Express will plan to use their leading scorer, Ivan Campos to find the net quick for Turlock and gain the early lead as Campos has a total of 13 goals ranking him as the 2nd leading scorer in the MASL. In return, The Coyotes will come reinforced by the man in the box, Jesus Molina, Midfielder Christian Gutierrez and Midfielder Hugo Puentes.
